How to Cook Spelt:
- Combine 1 c. spelt, 1 1/2 c. water, and a pinch of sea salt. Pressure cook 45-50 minutes. Remove from the heat. Allow pressure to decrease before removing lid. If boiling, use 2 c. water and simmer in a pot with a tight-fitting lid for 1 hour, or until water is absorbed. Or, grind into fresh flour for making delicious bread, pie crust, cookies or cakes.
