This beautiful high-performance nonstick fry pan features Kyocera’s unique ceramic nonstick coating technology which outperforms and outlasts other leading brands. The ceramic coating provides scratch resistance plus a superior non-stick performance that is not only safe, but also very easy to clean. The heavy gauge aluminum and stainless base provide excellent thermal conductivity which results in quick and even heat distribution. The durable, riveted stainless handle is comfortable in your hand and enables the pan to be oven safe up to 400 degrees F. Lightly coat the inside surface of the ceramic fry pan with oil before you start cooking. Do this each time you cook with the pan, unless the food is high in fat content, which will coat the pan itself. Cooking should be done with low or medium heat. Ceramic cookware heats evenly and retains heat well, so medium or low heat is all that is needed. Using high heat causes foods to stick to the pan, which can discolor or damage the surface. Store your ceramic fry pan separately from other cookware, especially other ceramics to prevent damage and don't stack other cookware inside of it. Rinse the fry pan in warm water promptly after cooking to remove excess food and grease. Avoid letting it sit on the hot stovetop, which can damage the pan. Never put an empty ceramic fry pan on a hot burner. The cookware is recommended for all cooking surfaces including induction.
